What this directory is

Compare A Broker Directory is an independent listing and comparison resource covering 380 mortgage broker businesses across Perth and the surrounding suburbs. It exists for people who want to shortlist a broker without reading through dozens of scattered review pages first. We bring together public business information and a synthesis of recent Google reviews into one comparable format, so you can see at a glance how brokers stack up on the things that tend to matter: responsiveness, communication, rate outcomes, and general client sentiment.

We are not a review host. We do not copy or republish review text. Instead, we read the pattern of recent public feedback and summarise it, then link out to the business’s own Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself and form your own view.

How listings and rankings work

Every business on this site is scored against a published rubric, using data points such as verified business details, review volume, review recency, and sentiment themes drawn from public sources. Nothing about a ranking is manual or subjective on our end: it is a data-only calculation, and the full method is laid out on our methodology page so anyone can check how a score was reached.

A business can ask us to correct its factual details: address, phone number, hours, services offered, and similar. What it cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment summary, or its position in the ranking. That separation is deliberate. If businesses could adjust their own standing, the rankings would stop meaning anything.

Sponsorship, clearly separated

Some pages include sponsored placements. These are always labelled “Sponsored,” displayed in a distinct section from the earned ranking, and never allowed to move a business up or down the list. Paying for visibility buys a label and a placement, not a better score.

About the enquiry service

Compare A Broker Directory is an independent directory and comparison resource, and it also connects people to local providers. When you ask to be matched with a broker, we pass your enquiry to a provider relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for doing so. That arrangement is disclosed on the quote page, and it never touches the scores or rankings shown on this site. Referral income and editorial standing are kept on separate tracks by design.

This directory is published by Scout Local Media, an independent Australian publisher (established 2026) that builds local guides, business directories, and consumer resources aimed at making it easier to find trustworthy local services, while giving quality local businesses a fair way to be seen.
